PRICING YOUR ITEMS

The most common question we receive is - "How should I price my stuff?"

We have put together a guideline to help you.

When pricing your items, consider it's brand and condition. Look at each item as if you were thinking of buying it for your child - what would you pay?

As a general rule, price items at about 1/3 of their original price. Name brands or boutique brands such as Gymboree, Baby Gap or Naartjie should be priced at the higher end of the scale.

An exception to the 1/3 rule is indoor/outdoor toys. Items like Little Tykes play kitchens or play houses are in higher demand and you can get as much as 1/2 of the original retail price, especially if they have only been used indoors and are in excellent condition.

Outfits and sets always sell better. Whenever possible, pair together tops and bottoms. For a truly complete outfit include matching tights or hair bow.

Price infant clothing size 0-9 months low - there is often an abundance of barely worn clothing in this size. The lower your prices, the better chance it will sell.

Consider your items to be reduced for our 50% of sale. It's better to get less and clear out the clutter than to take back home items you don't need. This is especially true if you are donating your unsold items anyway!
