Thanks to our "state of the art" online tagging system we are one of the most advanced sales in the northern suburbs. Tween and teen clothing (up to size 18), shoes (must be in perfect condition) and accessories. (No bras, underwear or socks - unless they are brand new) 

Any season name brand maternity clothing (Mimi Maternity, A Pea in the Pod, Old Navy Maternity). No bras or underwear please. Maternity clothing must be less than five years old.

School uniforms 

Toys, children's books and videos, puzzles, pregnancy videos and parenting books. Toys that require batteries MUST have them and toys must be working. Wood puzzles must be put together and saran wrapped. Put everything in a plastic bag and tape it shut at the top. Videos must be in their original box. Tape the video so that it stays in the box. DVD's must be in working condition. Please do not sell something that is scratched or skips.  

Baby blankets, crib sheets, bumpers, nursery decorations, name brand diaper bags (no Similac give away bags). We will not accept anything that is stained. Please try to put complete sets of bumpers, blankets and sheets all together in a XXL Ziploc bag (can be found at any Target or Walmart). We will tape them shut at the sale after everything is inspected. DO NOT tape them shut at home!!

Cribs, high chairs, strollers, bath seats, swings, gliders, pack & plays, playpens - MAKE SURE EVERYTHING HAS WORKING BATTERIES, OR IT CAN NOT BE SOLD! **MAKE SURE YOU CLEAN THESE ITEMS FIRST! WE WILL NOT ACCEPT ANYTHING THAT HAS CRUMBS OR STAINS ON IT!

Outdoor play equipment. (Must be clean!) 

 What can I not sell?

 Summer items such as swim suits, shorts, tank tops, sandals, etc. 

Torn, stained or outdated clothing and shoes. Shoes that are not in near perfect condition will not sell.

Dirty toys, furniture and baby equipment. 

No stuffed animals. 

No potty chairs. 

Bottles may be sold, but no nipples. 

Sippy cups may be sold as long as you can replace the "sippy" part (Avent). No plastic topped sippy cups allowed.

No feeding accessories (mesh chewy bags, spoons, straws etc.)

 

How do I prepare my items? 

Clean and press all garments. The better your items look the more you can charge and the faster they will sell! 

While we suggest that you hang as much as possible we require that all "outfits" be hung on hangers. Do not fold pants over on the hanger. You can get your hangers for free at Old Navy (go back by the fitting room), most Target stores, and many department stores. (I just heard Kohl's will also give them away) If you are having any trouble contact us and we can help you. Please do not pin any outfits together.  You may pin pajama sets together. Please pin the bottoms to the back of both shoulders. Please pin diaper covers to the seam under the arm of the garment.

Put clothing on a hanger facing left. Hangers should look like a question mark.

When putting your items together as an outfit, rubberband the hangers together. Make sure you put on your description "3 pc. set" or "2 pc. Gymboree shirt & capri's w/ socks & hair bow"

 Toys, puzzles and games must have all the pieces, be clean and not out of date. It is up to you to make sure that any toys have not been recalled.

 Cribs, changing tables, pack & plays, high chairs, strollers, swings, etc. must be clean and in working order. Make sure your swing has working batteries in it (you can find batteries at the dollar store). If you want your crib assembled allow yourself time to do so at drop-off (it is not required to be set-up).  

Tie your shoes together with ribbon. Do not pin them together. Do NOT leave the shoes in the boxes - all boxes will be thrown away. You MUST secure both shoes together! Please be sure your tag is properly attached so that it will not fall off (punch a hole in the tag and tie it with ribbon to the shoe laces).

Group small items such as books or toys in a large Ziploc bag and tape shut.

 What should I charge?

 We recommend pricing your items at about 30% of retail.

We also recommend that you allow some items to go for half price on Saturday from 1:00pm - 3:00pm. 

Items must be at least $1.00 and priced in increments of .50 cents. ($1.00, $1.50, $2.00, $2.50, etc..) 

How do I tag my items? 

VERY IMPORTANT **You must print your tags on 65# white cardstock** You can find the cardstock at any office supply store. If you only need a few pieces, you can purchase individual sheets at scrapbooking stores. This is critical so we can insure that our barcode scanners can read every tag correctly.  Enter as much detail as you'd like. Just remember the more info you give, the better chance we have at matching up a missing ticket to an item.  

 Use the barcoded tags you printed from your inventory list and cut them out individually. 

Pin your tags to the hanging size tag with a safety pin (do NOT use straight pins). If there is no tag you may pin it to the seam in the same spot where the tag would be. You may pin your tags to the front of jeans, coats etc. so that the tag is clearly visable to shoppers. MAKE SURE YOU ATTACH YOUR TAGS TO THE CLOTHING AND NOT THE HANGER!

On drop-off day, put your items in order by SIZE AND GENDER and bring a print out of your inventory log! You must also bring a self addressed stamped envelope for your check!
